Psalms Chapter 19
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament show His handy work
His going forth is from the end of the heaven and His circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple
The statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgment of the Lord are true and righteous altogether
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb
Moreover by them is thy servant warned, and in keeping of them there is great reward
Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright and I shall be innocent from the great transgression
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer
There is none like God. The heavens declare His glory. The earth praise Him with singing. His children honor Him for all His goodness and mercy. There is none like our God. He searches our heart and knows the secret faults we have and yet He understands and forgives our short comings. There is none like our God. The verse which says, "Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins: let them not have dominion over me" speaks of sins that one may assume is right even though it is wrong in God's eyes. It is a false show of possessing, pretending and assuming you are right when really, you are wrong. The psalmist prayed, "God do not let this take over my life". We hide nothing form God and it's when we admit are wrongs and ask God to help us, when we truly can say these words, "Lord let my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer."
"PRAISE GOD FOR HIS WORD and HIS WONDERFUL WORKS", AMEN and AMEN!
