The Promise Of A Song

{Revelation 5:9]

"And they sung a new song, saying Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof for Thou was slain and has redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation"

"I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined unto me and heard my cry"

"He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings"

'And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it and fear and shall trust in the Lord"

{Job 29:13}

"The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy"

{Proverbs 29:6}

"In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous do sing and rejoice"

{Zechariah 2:10}

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for lo, I come and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord"

The Lord puts a song in the hearts of His people. He longs to hear our songs of praise unto Him. In Psalms 77:6, David spoke about remembering his song in the night. David was troubled many many times, but God always gave David a song to sing. In Job 29:13, the Lord causes the widow's heart to sing. A widow feels so much heart break and loneliness, but God gives her a song to sing even in her pain. But the greatest song of all, will be the song sung by the redeemed. "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory." This will be the "NEW SONG" that God will give to those who have overcome this world. The time will at last come when the true worshippers will sing the song of praise to our Lord. God's promises are unlimited to the FAITHFUL. The keys to the kingdom are to those who are faithful to God to the end. So, until that great day of rejoicing comes, let us sing for Jesus, sing with hearts of thanksgiving for all he has done. No matter what we must  go through in this life, let us always claim the promise that God will always give us a song to sing!
